Founded by nonprofit practitioner, Cally D’Angelo, IOM, it supports organizations by blending employee engagement, executive expertise and ideation + execution of an initiative. Additionally, it provides fractional staffing support. 

 

Driven by impact, it primarily serves Chambers of Commerce, nonprofits and professional & trade associations. This innovative model empowers NPOs to advance priorities with efficiency and excellence.

CALLY D'ANGELO

FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL

Cally D’Angelo, IOM is the Founder & Principal of Collective Edge (CE). Nonprofit organization management is where her passion and purpose align. After working directly for Chambers of Commerce for nearly 20 years, she created CE to amplify and influence NPOs impact. She is a seasoned executive, skilled in professional development, events & programs, sales & service, member recruitment & retention, coaching & consulting, benefits & onboarding, international travel, and volunteer engagement.

 

A change agent, she has launched many initiatives, from solopreneur to C-Suite, that have greatly impacted engagement and revenue more than 500%. From beginning her career as an administrative assistant, to working for organizations where she was one of two employees, to becoming a contributing senior leader at a large 2,200+ member Chamber, she understands the nuances and needs of organizations at any size.

Civically engaged, she has served as an Ambassador & Events Division Advisory Board Chair for the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, Southeast Board of Regents & Class Advisor for the U.S. Chamber Foundation Institute for Organization Management, Diversity & Inclusion Council for the Georgia Chamber, Board Member for World Trade Center Atlanta, among many others.

She is known for ideation and innovation, and many of her initiatives have been nationally recognized. She is a sought-after subject matter expert and has recently been tapped to teach at the U.S. Chamber Institute for Organization Management program, in addition to others.

RHEA FRENDT

DIRECTOR, ENGAGEMENT & EVENTS

With a background in organization management, and an emphasis in associations and nonprofits, Rhea Frendt is the Director of Engagement & Events at Collective Edge.

 

Combining professional expertise and a passion for philanthropy, she brings both head and heart to her body of work. In the association space, her background includes end-to-end event production, with a focus on signature programming.

 

Understanding the nuances of nonprofits, she has worked for startups and established organizations, such as AmeriCorps VISTA, Habitat for Humanity, and When Everyone Survives Foundation.

 

Her experience includes donor development, fundraising events, marketing and communications, public relations, and volunteer management. A mission-driven professional, she brings an empathetic approach to business. Whether it is engaging donors or rallying volunteers, her servant style leadership shines through.
